Picking between apples

You are about to buy an apple from a shop and have the choice between 2 brands, X and Y.
Apple X has a quality of 5.
Apply Y is undetermined and could have a quality between 0-10.
With only that information, which apple will you choose?
I always thought I am Apple X kinda guy. Apparently not.
